Japanese eating habits have changed

Post by nusaibatara »

I never thought she would lose to the 3-year-old mare Harp Star.

As expected of a Deep kid, I kind of get that feeling.

Harp Star won today and has five wins and two second place finishes.

The second place finishes were also by a nose to Red River in the Hanshin JF, and by a neck to Nuovo Record in the Oaks.

It's not often that a horse can beat Gold Ship at special lead three years old.

To me, this is the second coming of Vodka! This will ensure that she wins the Shuka Sho.

However, despite being the overwhelming favorite, jockey Yokoyama lost, so it seems he may never be able to ride Gold Ship again.

It felt like we were expected to win, and in hindsight, if I had to point out the reason for our loss, it might be that we were too slow in our final push.

Even though he beat Harp Star in the final stretch, the difference of 3/4 of a length is significant.

As a Yokoyama fan, I'm also worried about what will happen next.

It has been said that Japan is the kingdom of longevity, but that may be just a matter of time.
